The US online store which supplies a broad range of unlocked Wi-Fi supported cellular devices that enables end users to take advantage of Internet Telephony (News - Alert) (mobile VoIP), Email, and Internet browsing when in range of a Wi-Fi access point such as in the home, office or a public hotspot.
Providing massive cost savings, these devices boast a built in media player and Wi-Fi facilitates that have the ability to play music from the phone over a home network.

Businesses can also use these smartphones as extensions to their corporate IP PBX (News - Alert) system. In this case the cellular device acts as both a standard GSM handset and as an extension to the company switchboard.

The company points out that although these smartphones have enjoyed tremendous success in the European market, they have not been available in the US due to the US carrier’s reluctance in taking them on board. Some people have complained about the draining battery but users have the option to switch Wi-Fi off when not required.

Available immediately, these competitively priced smartphones are unlocked for use with any SIM card and come with a full one-year’s manufacturer’s warranty. Since WiFiMobile specializes in these particular devices, it offers top quality ongoing and technical support to customers.

“The availability of Wi-Fi equipped smartphones and the growing popularity of VoIP are breaking down the boundaries of cellular telecoms and the Internet,” said WiFiMobile’s CEO Gerry O’Prey in a statement to the press.

"The market in Europe has boomed in the last couple of years and it’s now time to give US consumers a choice. A Wi-Fi enabled device can ultimately save the end user money, is that why US carriers are shying away?” also commented O’Prey.
