NFP, Acteva to Aid Nonprofit Organizations with Web-Based Tools
By Raju Shanbhag TMCnet Contributing Editor Seeking a way for NFP Consultants to provide Acteva’s Online Event Registration and Payment System to nonprofit organizations, San Francisco-based Acteva announced today that it’s entered into a partnership with NFP.
The partnership expands the breadth of tools that NFP Consultants offers to assist nonprofit organizations, according to the companies.
NFP says it will derive many benefits working with Acteva’s online event registration and payment system, including: a reduction in workload, which automates manual payment processing and data collection for the entire event; increasing attendee satisfaction, which makes attendees’ satisfied by offering services and products that were solicited in post-event surveys; event promotion, which promotes an upcoming event on the internet and to a customer base that has attended a similar event in the past; risk reduction, Acteva’s 128-bit, SSL Protected, PCI compliant service helps ensure the integrity of all payment data; and donation encouragement, where donors can easily contribute to a desired organization through Acteva’s convenient on-line system.
Acteva provides event registration services and software for event organizers. The tools provided by the company are Web-based and easily accessed on-line around the clock. Freeing up time for event organizers to focus on other important details, Acteva says it provides a simple way for donors to register and pay for a charitable event. Administrative works such as registration, reconciliation, charge-backs, refunds, and fraud resolution, can also be minimized.
By teaming up with Acteva, NFP Consultants can offers discounts on the Acteva system to nonprofits organizations that need a professional online registration system for their fund raising events, according to the company. NFP will also use Acteva internally for class registration and seminars, company officials say.
John Francis, president of NFP Consultants said, “Acteva is a perfect compliment to the lineup of Sage Software (News - Alert) Nonprofit solutions that we offer and works particularly well with Sage Fundraising 50 donor management software. Both our existing customers and prospective customers will benefit from this new addition to the broad range of technology tools that we implement for nonprofits.” He adds, “The partnership makes a lot of sense because Acteva understands the dynamics of the community that we serve as they have a large nonprofit customer base of their own. Some of these organizations are struggling in this economy so their fundraising efforts are more important than ever. I’m really looking forward to introducing the Acteva system to our Sage MIP Fund Accounting and Sage Fundraising 50 customers.”
