Keynote Systems Demonstrates Web 2.0 Measurement Tool
By Prabhala Ranga Sai TMCnet Contributing Editor Keynote Systems (News - Alert), a leader in on-demand test and measurement solutions for continuously improving the online experience, has demonstrated its new capabilities to measure interactive Web 2.0 sites. It has showcased the capabilities of WebEffective 6.0 at the recent Optimization summit hosted by Optimost in San Francisco.
The public demonstration, scheduled only for one day, is a prelude to the official launch and availability of WebEffective 6.0 later this month. WebEffective 6.0 is a technically advanced version of Keynote’s on-demand customer experience/UX solution for conducting in-depth, online research that helps companies improve Web site effectiveness and online business performance.
WebEffective 6.0 is designed to enable programmers to conduct quick and accurate testing of end users interacting with sites featuring Web 2.0 technologies, including AJAX, Flash, and DHTML. DHTML is gaining popularity as it is used to create highly dynamic and interactive Web sites in which the user does not actually click on the page to view new content, but simply hovers over it.
Billed as the first tool to measure user experience in DHTML, WebEffective 6.0 measures user experience without actually manually tagging events in order to monitor them. As WebEffective 6.0 will work with any site, it will be useful to marketers to find out the overall effectiveness of advanced Web 2.0 Web sites.
Keynote has a market-leading infrastructure of 2,400 measurement computers and mobile devices in over 240 locations around the world. Its on-demand, hassle-free infrastructure allows businesses to access services they need, when they need them to pinpoint and fix mobile quality and Internet problems before they impact customers.
