Business VoIP's Allworx Unveils New Sales, Training, Support Programs for Resellers
By Anshu Shrivastava TMCnet Contributing Editor Allworx (News - Alert) has announced a series of new sales, marketing and support programs in a bid to enhance its network of more than 1,000 Allworx Authorized Resellers in North America.
The company says the move bolsters the advantages of selling and supporting Allworx’s family of communications systems.
Allworx also says it’s adding a significant piece to its reseller training program. In the fourth quarter of this year, Allworx resellers are expected to participate in a suite of newly programmed online and interactive training programs.
The new courses include three introductory modules. Officials said that these modules are Allworx Product Overview; Allworx System Installation Overview; Networking 101. Through these online programs, company believe, channel participants can obtain “valuable insights into Allworx’ award-winning communications systems.”
Moreover, resellers’ sales and technical staff will gain a working knowledge of networking and telecom principles. Officials said that this will enhance their overall sales and support goals.
Jim Hayes, president at Hayes & Associates, an Allworx Authorized Reseller, said that Allworx’s new training initiatives will provide “tremendous” benefits to his company’s sales and technical staff by keeping them close to home while they improve their technical education and credentials at a doable time and pace.
Designed for in-person training, the company has introduced an expanded line-up of technical training courses. Officials said that these information-packed sessions provide resellers with basic knowledge and hands-on experience needed to install and support the complete Allworx family of communications systems.
Allworx also announced its new Return Materials Authorization process for authorized resellers. The new three-step process starts with an online request form and makes full use of automation.
And, the company unveiled its plan to release an IFrame Web content capability, which allows resellers to include a full compliment of up-to-the-minute Allworx product information on their own Web sites.
“With our high-demand fall season fast approaching, all of us at Allworx have redoubled our efforts to provide the kinds of tools, processes, products and support programs that our channel partners need to achieve their goals,” said Chris Talbot, senior marketing manager at Allworx.
For small and medium-sized businesses with up to 100 users per site, the Allworx portfolio of SMB products includes the 24x and 6x VoIP communications systems, and also the 9100 and 9200 IP phone series.
In addition, the product suite also includes a series of software options, including Call Assistant, Call Queuing, and Conference Center.
