VoIP Logic Releases Cortex 2.0

By Susan J. Campbell

Outsourced and hosted VoIP infrastructure and solutions provider, VoIP Logic has announced the release of Cortex 2.0, an enhanced version of its middleware offering.  Cortex 2.0 is designed to enable service providers using VoIP technology in their service offerings to dramatically reduce the complexity of layering on the new technology. A flexible, customizable Web-based management platform, Cortex allows service providers to provision and customize service offerings as well as enabling their end users to self-administer.

The Cortex 2.0 solutions offers significant enhancements, such as customizable enterprise and consumers end user Web-portals; full provisioning integration with Sylantro 4.1; flexible module-based login credentials to easily manage access privileges and layers; full voicemail and auto-attendant management integration with Iperia ActiveEdge 3.6; and NexTone MSX reporting integration.

Other feature enhancements include full integration with High Deal Transactive; easy merchant account integration; multi-system provisioning and management wizards; Beta stage integrated with IVR Technologies’ Talking SIP; Cortex Web services API for convenient extensibility.

“Combined with outsourced VoIP infrastructure or used alone, Cortex makes it
dramatically easier for service providers to outsource a full VoIP services deployment,” said Micah Singer, CEO, VoIP Logic, in a statement. “The best part is that by using an experienced outsourced/hosted provider like VoIP Logic, service providers will actually increase the speed, quality, and overall success of their unique deployments while reducing cost.”

As a provider of outsourced VoIP systems and solutions, VoIP Logic LLC enables telecommunications providers worldwide the ability to build and manage flexible and scalable VoIP networks.  The company provides a comprehensive set of on demand solutions from VoIP infrastructure to the Cortex java management portal, extended to service providers seeking to include VoIP technology in their offerings.

“Omni Access chose VoIP Logic’s Cortex because it offers the back end integration that we need, as well as the stability of the industry’s leading calling systems,” said Paul Itoi,
CEO, Omni Access.  He added that Cortex enables Omni Access — and service providers, in general — to easily add services without complicating end user management as they grow.

Service providers are increasingly seeking ways to include VoIP service in their offerings.  VoIP Logic not only answers this demand, but also takes it one step further by providing these organizations with methods for customizing the service and ensuring its ease of use for the customer.  Such attention to the demands of the industry will help to drive demand and growth for its solutions, ensuring its long-term market positioning.
