According to an announcement this week, advanced IP service solutions provider Sigma Systems has teamed up with VoIP application software provider BroadSoft, Inc. to offer provisioning and fulfillment solutions to telecom and cable operators for hosted business and residential Internet telephony services.

A specialist in the delivery of triple- and quad-play offerings, Sigma has provisioned more than 7 million VoIP lines around the world. Using the company’s Service Management Platform overlaid with its Business and Residential VoIP fulfillment solutions, service providers can manage service creation, order capture, order management, administrative self-care and fulfillment.

Operators who employ BroadSoft’s (News - Alert) platform can now utilize Sigma’s off-the-shelf solution to assign pre-defined service packages or create customized service bundles.

According to Ken Rokoff, vice president of business development at BroadSoft, Sigma has a proven record for provisioning and fulfilling IP-based services at leading global service providers.

“Collaboration with Sigma’s robust business and residential VoIP fulfillment solutions demonstrates BroadSoft’s commitment to provide global service providers with a viable ecosystem of innovative technology partners that streamlines and accelerates the delivery of next-generation services,” Rokoff said.
