Excella Communications, a provider of integrated telecommunications and network services will supply hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) platform to Switch Communications Group throughout its Las Vegas facilities including the SuperNAP.

Switch's newest SuperNAP is a 407,000 square foot facility and is the highest density datacenter in the U.S. It has capacity for 250 Megawatts of power, 4.5 Million Cubic Feet per Minute of cooling, and an average of 1,500 Watts per square foot, with nearly 7,000 high-density cabinets. This unique environment enables Switch to provide unparalleled mission-critical collocation infrastructure and services to global customers.

With Excella’s aid Switch can have advanced voice communications system that allows all of its Las Vegas facilities to work together under one system. Excella's advanced VoIP capabilities provide voice mail messaging delivered to email, one number locator service and desktop computer management.

Jeff Ames, Chief Technology Officer of Switch, says, "We have a long relationship with Excella and have worked closely with them as both of our companies have grown. Our engineering and operations team is focused on growing our business, not running a PBX (News - Alert) network. We chose Excella because they have carrier-class equipment located in an extremely secure facility, and their network is run by industry experts we trust and respect."

Excella on the other hand provides local and long distance service, high-speed data and Internet access, hosted VoIP telecommunications service (fully unified messaging features and fully hosted PBX services, simultaneous cell phone ring, Web click-to-dial, visual voicemail to e-mail and fax to e-mail), and private Wide Area Network (WAN) services in a simple, understandable and competitive package to its customers.

Jack Pestaner, CEO of Excella Communications said in a statement, "We go above and beyond the call of duty to find solutions for our customers that in turn allow them to focus on their business while we make communication simple."
